About:China Visa Application in USA

10-year visa in Hong Kong or Taiwan?

Furthermore, can one get a 60 or 90-day rather than a 30-day?

Jason, you cannot apply for it in Taiwan. And it’s very difficult to get it in HK. You’d better apply in your home country.
In general, the stay duration for each entry is 60 days at most.
