About:

My family of 5 will be traveling from Hefei to Mount Sanqingshan. Is a flight or train best?

Where are the best locations to stay (for 5) to have good access to the park and activities? With 2.5 days to explore, what are the must see and do activities? We are all in excellent physical condition and up for a little adventure. What would you recommend?

You are advised to take a bullet train to Shangrao from South Railway Station (about 2.5 hour). Upon arrival, take a taxi to Shangrao Passenger Transport Center at no. 27, Daihu Road for about CNY 20. Then, take a coach to the scenic area. The coaches are scheduled at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:30.

For accommodation, you may stay at Goddess Hotel in the Nanqing Park Scenic Area inside the mountain resort. You can see the sea of clouds and sunrise from the hotel. The must-see attractions include Nanqing Park, Sunshine Coast, Sanqing Temple, and West Coast Scenic Area. You may hike up on the mountain, and see the sunrise in the early morning.
