Yohan, you can apply for the transit entry permit from the China embassy in your country by submiting the following documents, such as your passport, a photocopy of the passport, an application form, a recently-taken bare-headed photo, a financial standing proof, and your flight tickets. If the embassy can directly deal with your application, you only need to wait for four working days. If it transfers your application to HK, I'm afraid you may have to wait for four to six weeks.
