extend my time for week for residence permit

Question

I am Subramanian Balachandran, from India, Now I need to get residence permit with in 18-01-2016. But I still not get the foreign expert certificate, if it is possible to extend my time for week after 18-01-2016. (Please tell the answer, its helpful for me)

Dear, I'm afraid you can't extend your time for one week, but as long as you can submit the application for the residence permit before January 18, 2016, it will be fine. As far as I know, the process to issue the Foreign Expert Certificate only takes seven working days. Since you have already submited the application, you can get the FEC soon. Once you get it, you are able to apply for the residence permit, so I think you still have enough time to do the residence permit application.
