What is meant by ´confirmed seat´?

Hi, at the airport you have to show a valid flight to a third country with a ´confirmed seat´. Is ´confirmed´ shown on the E-ticket enough or do you have to show your exact seat?

HK, the required confirmed seat is to affirm that you will fly out to a third country or region. I think the E-ticket is enough.
