place to put suitcases after checkout a hotel in beijing

Hi, I'm checking out of a hotel with a large group around 12, but we aren't taking a train to Shanghai until 9 that night. Is it likely that our hotel would provide us with a place to store luggage during that time? I've booked using a third party site which makes it difficult to get in contact with my hotel to ask them.

Generally speaking, the hotel can store the luggage for you. Just talk with the hotel staff about this. Perhaps you just need to pay a little or tip the staff for secure storage.
