Place to put suitcases after checkout a hotel in Beijing

Hi, I'm checking out of a hotel with a large group around 12, but we aren't taking a train to Shanghai until 9 that night. Is it likely that our hotel would provide us with a place to store luggage during that time? I've booked using a third party site which makes it difficult to get in contact with my hotel to ask them.
