About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

My wife is chinese and I want to take my mom to live with us in China

Hi! I married a Chinese in PRC and I can apply for the residence. We want to take my mom to live in PRC with us. Can she get a residence too? How to do it?

Yes, your mother can also get the residence. You can ask your mother to apply for a Q1 or S1 type visa and enter PRC with it. Then she can apply for a temporary residence permit at the local eixt and entry administration within 30 days after her arrival.
