About:China Visa

Onward ticket is needed?

I will be in china on a tourist visa on 7 january..i m planninig visiting many citties and at the end of the month to enter hong kong on foot from shenzen..i dont know the exact date...is it ok the fact that i will enter PRC without a return ticket? or i have to buy one even if i will not use it..for example buiyng an xiamen -hong kong air ticket but entering honk kong on foot of shenzhen.
I am Eu citizen and i have already one entry permit on hand..
Tell me what to do because i dont want to be denied entry to PRC because i dont have return ticket..as you understand i cannot programe my whole trip..thanks

Jim, you mentioned that you have got an entry permit already? Is is for mainland China? If yes, you don't need to by the ticket from Shenzhen to HK.

Thanks a lot. yes i have a one month tourist L type for PRC..i was worried if i need to have a proof to leave china on a plane ...so i will make my trip and from Shenzen i will enter Hong Kong on foot...
