Female monkey and Male sheep
I'm 36female monkey in a relationship (3yrs) with 37yo male sheep. Relationship has been tough from begginning due to having to learn to accept how opposite we are and find new ways of solving problems but over past 2yrs it's been progressively getting harder with more frequent fights all mainly due to outside stresses on the r'ahip & also due to still not allowing for or accepting each other's differences. We truely love each other though even after all weve been thru & we're determined to make it work. But I do have issues with his 'irresponsibility' & 'immaturity' and of course he doesn't respnd well to my complaining and bossing/telling him what he should or shouldn't be doing - esp hates it when I mention it's time to grow up & start behaving adult . He finds my honest, open, direct way of speaking judgemental & condescending and very hurtful. Is there a chance for us to work/last if we both make genuine effort & compromises or are we just fooling ourselves & delaying the inevitable? Any other sheep/monkey r'ahips out there- how's it working for you? What has been your experience? Any advice/help appreciated :)
