About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If I stop over on ship for 36 hours, can I use a 72hrs free transit and not leave ship in Beijing

What is a G type visa ?

Hi David, the 72hrs free transit policy is only applicable to flight passengers, so I'm afraid you can't use it. So you need to apply for a G type, which means a transit visa.
