About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is 24 hour visa also applicable for a cruise ship stop at Shanghai?

Cruise begins in Tokyo (Yokohama), makes several stops before Shanghai, then continues on to Hong Kong, where we will disembark and fly home to the US.

Betty, you are right. The 24 hour direct transit is applicable to passengers by a cruise shop.
