I would like to visit PRC for tourism for a month, including a visit to the Hong Kong Tourism for a week and then return to mainland, what kind of visa should I have?

Dear, you should apply for a tourist L type with double entries to mainland PRC. As for HK, Qatar passport holders can enter freely for a stay of no more than 30 days.
