cancellation of foreign expert certificate

can an employer be sue for not giving the employee the cancellation of the foreign expert certificate after the end of the contract?

Andy, based on my experience, the end date of the contract is always very near to the expiry date of the Foreign Expert Certificate, so I think it's not neccesary to cancel the certificate. If you worry about problems, you can go to the labour bureau to cancel it.

My problem is that if they are not going to cancel my foreign expert certificate even if I'm no longer working in the school i might not be able to apply in another school in China

Well, in this case, you have the right to ask them to cancel your foreingn expert certificate.
