About:China Student Visa

Is it possible to get a multiple entry X2 visa or a resident permit if you hold an x2?

I'm due to start a course of study in Shanghai in February.

I understand I will need to apply for a student type. however it is clear I may need to Leave mainland and renter at some point during my studies.

Is this possible and what is the best way around it?

My course will be Feb-June.

Dear, I’m afraid it’s impossible. You can only get a single-entry X 2 type because you just study for 4 months. If you exit and enter again, you need to re-apply a new X2 type.
