Do I need transit visa if I stay in guangzhou airport of 3 hrs?

Hi good morning sir, I'm hanzie from the Philippines I have a book to christchurch to guangzhou and guangzhou to manila I stay 3hrs in guangzhou do I need a transit entry permit to guangzhou?

Hanzie, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit, so you don’t need to apply for a transit G type.
