for getting a japanese visa

Hello, I am Barua from Wuhan, Hubei, a Bangladeshi national planning to participate a conference in Japan. I have invitation letter from organizer. Do I need to go to Beijing to get Japanese entry permit? Is there any alternative way to get it without going Beijing? Please response anyone who knows very well. Waiting for hearing from expert.
