About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Singapore citizen on temporary Singapore passport

Will this 72 hours visa-free be applicable in my situation as I am a Singapore citizen? I am travelling from Singapore to Guangzhou and back to Singapore within the time limit.

Violet, I’m afraid you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit policy.
Because you hold temporary passport, you cannot enjoy free entry either. In this way, you should apply for an entry permit in advance. The temporary passport is acceptable when applying for the entry permit.
