About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

S visa and changing employer

Hi, my name is Emanuela. I have been working in China with a resident permit since 3 years. Recently i got married with a no-chinese citizen and i gave him my Z type, so he got an S type, changed in resident permit too. The problem is i'm about to change my employer, it means i will go back home for a few week and apply for a new Z type (and after resident permit) from my country. Now i would like to know about my husband, can he come with me to my country or he has to stay in PRC until i come back? And if so are we supposed to change his resident permit too? How? he can do it directly to the immigration office or he has to leave PRC too?!

Emanuela, as long as your husband's residence permit is still valid, he can leave with you. It's not necessary to leave him alone in PRC. You don't need to change his residence permit if it's valid for a long time.
