Where to get a Vietnamese visa close to Xiamen

I am a Hungarian national presently studying in Xiamen. I would like to travel to Hanoi in January. Where can I apply? Guangzhou? Shanghai? I see the answer above, that it is not possible to apply via post, but I also see that the answer was written in April. Did anything change? Can I apply via post?

Hi, Anna, you can try to apply for it from the consulate general of Vietnam in Guangzhou. As for whether it can be posted or not, you can contact with the consulate and learn about details. Here is the hot line: 0086-20-83305910 or 83305911
