You only have to give/turn-over your passport, expert certificate and an appropriate photo. Takes 3 or so weeks. With the holidays, would be best to start the process soon.

To renew the expert Visa Z are there not required forms the employer must fill out to prove that I am still an employee of the company/school? If so how many forms are required and then how does the employer get them? Is it possible to go with the employer to the Visa office either 1) with these forms, or, is it possible to go to the Visa office and get these forms at the time of the visit and then fill them in and then hand in my passport and Expert Visa all at the same time?

I'm not sure why you are asking. This should be familiar to your employer and is their responsibility. If they are reluctant then it could very well be a sign that you should find a different employer.

They should be asking you for the documents and taking care of all the forms/processing/etc. If not, I highly recommend that you update your resume and start job hunting.

obtaining visa for the employees is a sole responsibility of the employer. his HR has complete that. employee should not be worried about it as long you are employed legally.
thats how we manage our foreign staff
