Traveling from Ho Chi Min to Shanghai, but with a stop in Guangzhou

I have a flight from Ho Chi Min to Shanghai with a stop of 4 hours in Guangzhou. From Shanghai I have a flight back to Europe. If I don't leave the airport in Guangzhou, can I use the 72 hours in Shanghai?

Maud, I'm afraid you can't use it because you transit in two Chinese cities.
