White Water River Transport

Bus line 7 is an offical bus, but there are some fake vans. So, you need to take an official bus where many people are waiting and nobody is persuading you onto the bus.

The bus will reach Yunshanping Cableway Lower Station. Then, go to the river by battery car or on foot. After touring around, catch bus line 7 back to the city at the same location.

* Is it advisable to go on first week of January? I'm worry the water might all frozen up or cover by snow.
* Possible i make my trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain then follow by the river or advisable split into 2 days?

1. It seems the bus line 7 has changed the running route and does not go to the scenic area any more.
But there are direct tourist buses from LJ old town to Jade Dragon Snow mountain. It's official and ticket fare is CNY 40 for a round trip. You can get on at Yuhe Square, South Gate or Lijun Hotel.
2. No worry, the flowing river won't be frozen or covered by snow.
3. It's better to spare two days. One day is too tight for both the river and the snow mountain.

How to identify the mentioned bus to WT/ Blue Moon Valley at Yuhe Square? Mentioned could catch South Gate, i need to know how to identify the bus so i could get from South Gate.

1. Yes, there is are green shuttle buses from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain entrance to the BM Valley. Ticket fare is CNY 20 per person.
2. White river flows through the BM Valley. You can take them as one site.
3. About the bus, there should be a board stating its destination "玉龙雪山 (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain). You can identify it by the characters. Or ask your hotel staff to point it for you. BTW, the bus departs from Shuhe Square at 08:30 and returns at 16:30.
