About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Re-entry using a residence permit

Is it okay for a US citizen to return home for a vacation then get back into China with just a Residence Permit? No change in employer or Chinese residence. Are there any restrictions or additional documents needed for reentry to complete the employment contract?

Dear, it’s okay to re-enter with your residence permit. You don’t need to provide additional documents but your passport and the residence permit.
