'Valid documents' needed for attraction in Beijing

Hi, will they consider a driver license as a valid document at the Great Hall of People and Mausoleum of Chairman Mao? I tried it at the Forbidden City and it worked. Are the checks more strict here?

Interesting~ I didn't heard that showing license is allowed to enter the attractions. But since it worked for Forbidden City, you may also give it a try at the other two. Good luck though!
