About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Overnight layover

I hold an Indonesian passport, traveling to US with an overnight transit in CAN, total of 22 hrs lay over. Will be staying at a hotel nearby airport. Do I need a transit visa?

No, you don't need it. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport to leave for the hotel.

Is there a sevice to request for a temporary stay permit at CAN airport in Guangzhou during transit or will I need to apply before departing from Indonesia? Thanks!
