Can you confirm that a 12 month/ multiple entry visa is possible for a UK citizen who is a tourist

I posed this question to the CVASC Centre in London. Their response:
Thank you for contacting CVASC.
There are no multiple entry tourism types. You will be able to apply for a maximum of double entry for tourism purposes (i.e visiting friends).2
