How to plan a day trip to Macau from Hong Kong?

My hotel is at Mong Kok area. Can you suggest what would be the best mode of transport for 6 adults and 2 children in Macao? We want to do sightseeing.

You are suggested to take ferry from HK-Macau Ferry Terminal. Take Tsuen Wan Line at Mong Kok Station, get off at Central Station. Then transfer to Island Line to Sheung Wan Station, Exit D. It takes around 25 mins with the ticket fare of 11.6 HKD per person. After that, walk north to arrive at the Ferry Terminal. There are many direct ferries that can take you to Macao.

In mcao, you can take the full use of free shuttle bus operated by those casinos. They are shuttling between the hotel (usually not far from scenic sites) and traffic hubs.
