About:Embassy of Algeria in China

Registering a marriage

I am a USA Citizen living in the USA my fiancé is an Algerian citizen living in Algeria. We are flying to Hong Kong to get married. After we sign the marriage certificate where should my fiancé go to register the marriage to ensure its valid in Algeria? Would he register at the Algeria embassy in Beijing?

Shannon, I am afraid that Algerian embassy in Beijing can't help you to register your marriage. I think that you need go back to Algeria to register your marriage legally.

I would think we would go to Beijing to register since we got married there. Have you had experience with this?
