About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

I have read about IC Card of Beijing. Is it the same as Smart Card?

Can more than one passenger use it? We are planning to take buses to Mutianyu Great Wall, so we would need to take 916 and 936 and we are two passengers.

Yes, they are the same. More than one passenger can use it. For bus lines like 916 or 936, you just need to swipe it twice before boarding. But remember that only one passenger can use it to take subway. Thus, you are advised to buy two cards for your convenience.
