About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour free visa entry to Beijing possible or not?

I am a Belgium citizen having a Belgian passport
I am flying from Bangkok via Hong Kong (1 hour transit) to Beijing
I am staying for 24 hours only in Beijing
I am flying than from Beijing to Hong Kong and stay there for one night in Kowloon
I am flying the next day back to Bangkok
Can I utilize the 72 hour free entry yes or no as Hong Kong is listed as a third country/region?

Marc, sorry, you cannot utilize the 72 hour free entry since you fly from HK to Beijing and then back to HK. In this case, HK cannot be regarded as a third country/region.
