pudong to hongqiao to yiwu

Arriving at pudong at 05.30am. What is the fastest way and best way to get to hongqiao train station? Also as for Shanghai Metro services what time do they start and finish?

The fastest way is to take a taxi. The fare is around CNY 230, and the duration is about 1 hour. Or, you may take maglev train to Longyang Road Station (8 minutes), and then transfer to metro line 2 to Hongqiao Railway Station  (about 50 minutes). Another option is metro. You may take metro line 2 from Pudong Airport to Hongqiao Railway Station directly. The duration is about 1.5 hours, and the fare is CNY 8. The first train departs at 6:00. As for the metro services, different lines have different schedules. Generally speaking, the first train departs at around 5:30 or 6:00, while the last one departs at 22:00 or 22:30.
