Pudong airport to Hongqiao railway station. Landing at 9PM.

Will need to get to Hongqiao railway station the next day to get Bullet train to Hangzhou East railway station. I believe Pudong airport and Hongqiao railway station is far apart but I noticed there are airport shuttles that run between the Pudong airport and Hongqiao Airport so is this near the Hongqiao railway station. Is it an option to catch a shuttle from airport to airport?

So my question is what is most pratical. Take a shuttle? subway? to Hongqiao airport / railway station area? is there options after 9pm?

And stay in a hotel over night near Pudong airport or Hongqiao airport or railway station?. Which will be easiest to get to by subway or bus to the Hongqiao railway station the next morning. Anyone familiar with subway stations / shuttles routes that can list the trip details for me. Never been to shanghai so unfamiliar with the transport and hotel locations and afraid of getting lost.
