Unsure of status..without a sticker on my Z visa

My company got me my foreign expert cert but I checked online regarding the temporary residence permit and it said that my passport was supposed to have a new sticker to replace my z type..problem is I did not get that new sticker which is actually the temporary residence permit. Is it possible that there is another form of document that substitutes as a temporary residence permit?
