About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Funds to show

I am a Pakistani passport holder who wishes to go to HK for a week. I am currently in China and a travel agency told me that I must have around 50,000 RMB in my account to apply for the visa. I am a student here so you can imagine that's a little difficult. How much should generally be enough for a week? Around 5 to 7 thousand was my initial guess. Do advise please .

Hello, Zhou, 5000 to 7000 may be not enough. Do you have a sponsor, for example, your mom or dad which bear your expenses? If yes, you can ask the sponsor to provide his or her financial proof. Besides, you can submit your residence permit in PRC when applying, it may give you some help.
