About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

Z Visa Bachelor Degree

Hi, I need to apply for Z type but I don't have a bachelor degree. I have experience for more than 8 years and did 90% of University's course, but didn't graduate. How can I get a Z type?

Dear, if your employer in PRC has a way to get a foreigner's work permit for you, it's possible to get the Z type even though you don't have a bachelor degree.

Except the work permit, you need to get an invitation letter of duly authorized entity or confirmation letter of invitation letter issued by relevant PRC entities. In addition, other basic materials are needed, including your passport and its photocopy, your recently-taken color photo and the application form.

Then hand them in to the embassy of PRC in your country to apply for it.

Your employer need to go to the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and submit some documents provided by you and the company to apply for the work permit. You can try to contact the office for more information but I'm afraid the staff there can't speak English. So you can ask your employer to find out information for you.

To get a China work Z type, you need to provide Bachelor degree (or above), 2-year work experience letter, non-criminal record certificate and others. The employing company needs to provide many documents, too.
With these documents, the employing license (issued by Labor Bureau) and Z type notification letter (issued by Bureau of Commerce) can be obtained. Then you can go to your home country or HK to get a Z type. After coming back to mainland, in turn you can apply for the Alien Employment Permit (issued by Labor Bureau) and 1 year residence permit (issued by Public Security Bureau).
Sometimes even though you cannot provide the degree certificate, some agents can find ways out.
