About:Chinese Consulates in India

can my wife accompany with me ?

hello 'm going to start working in Zhengzhou from next month. For that i will be applying for a long stay employment visa (z type i believe). I have received all the required documents from the company to process the Z type. My concern in that will my wife be able to apply for depended visa along with me now itself and accompany me to China ? or i can apply for her entry permit only after i join the company in PRC?

Dear, personally, I think you can apply an S2 type for her when you start your work in PRC.

Hey, man, if the company can add her name on the Invitation Letter issued by Duly Authorized Unit, then she can apply for an S type at the time you apply for the Z type, so that you two can go together. It's not advised that she enter with the tourist L type and convert it into S type after she enters.

or can she come with me with a travel L type and then convert it into a dependent S type in China later on ?
