About:China Visa

48 hour layover to Beijing from US to Manila, US Immigrant but Philippine passport, do I need visa?

I am a US immigrant with Philippine passport flying from US to Manila, I will stop over for 48 hours to Beijing, Can I use the 72 hour free transit in China or do I need an entry permit to see the country. Marie

Marie, as you hold a Filipino passport, it's a pity that you can't enjoy the 72 hour free transit service. You need to get an entry permit from the PRC embassy prior to your departure.
