About:China Work Visa

I'm going to China on a work visa, but what happens if I lose my job?

I assume if I couldn't find another job, i'd get a tourist L type but would I need to leave the country?

Dear, after you quit from the current company, if you want to travel instead of finding another employer, you need to have your work permit and residence permit cancelled first, and then apply for an L type, which allows you to stay in PRC for perhaps 30 days.
