About:China Visa Application in USA

Do I need a visa for less than 24 hour transit if I stop at Guangzhou?

I flying from Auckland and my citizen is Malaysia, can I just go out from the airport see the city within 24 hour?

If your stay is less than 24 hours, then you need apply anything in advance because you can enjoy 24 hours free transit. To exit the airport, it requires the stay permit. You can apply one at the immigration.
