About:Western Hills

Hi, How to go to Western Hill from The Hump Hostel by bus?

I noticed that Yunnan Nationalitis Museum, Dragon Gate and Dianchi Lake is at the same place. If I want to go to all these places including Western Hill, which one should I go first and what is the best itnerary that I can have for all these places?

You can take the following itinerary: Yunnan Nationalities Museum, Dianchi western Hill and Lake Dragon Gate. From the hostel, you can walk about 250 yards to Jinmafang Station to take the bus No. 73 or A1 to the Nationalities Museum. The lake is about 1 miles walking distance from the museum, you can cover it by walking.

From the lake, you can walk about 400 yards to Haigeng Park to take the bus No. 94 to Gaoyao Station. Then walk about 250 yards, you will reach the western hill. To getting to Longmen Gate, I suggest you take a taxi, and the fare is about CNY25.

Well, you can take bus no.73 to get to Dianchi Road. Then transfer to bus no. 94 to Haigeng Tourist Cable Car Station. Then walk southeast around 380 yards (350 meters) to take the cable car to the Dragon Gate. This is a convenient way too.

What is the actual flow to go to The Dragon Gate? Someone told me that I have to take Bus 73 then get off at Dianchi Lake, then from there I can take cable Car or cross by the road and take bus 94 to go to the hill. After that, I can take the chairlift to the Dragon Gate, and back to the Lake by chairlift. Is it true?
