About:Terracotta Army, Xian

How far from the Xian airport to the Terracota Army

Hi I am planning to fly in- arrive at noon, take a taxi (train, bus?) to the Terracota Army and then catch a night train to Bejiing. do you think this is doable? How long will the distances take?

The distance is about 40 miles (65 kilometers) between these two places.
And your time is tight but possible. Upon landing, you are suggested to take airport shuttle bus line 3, get to Main Railway Station first. It takes around an hour on the way with the fare of CNY 25 per person. Then take direct tourist bus line 5 to get to the scenic area. The duration is also about an hour. It costs CNY 7 per person. Supposing you arrive at 12:00 and catch the buses without waiting, you will have 2-3 hours there. The scenic site closes at 17:30.

After visiting, still take the tourist bus line 5 to the main railway station and catch the night train to Beijing.
