About:China Transit Visa

Travelling from India to Tajikistan via Beijing & Urumqi

Good morning, my intended travel itinerary is Mumbai-Beijing-Urumqi-Dushanbe and backwards for the return journey. The total transit time within China will be 17 hours each time. A few doubts:

1. Should I apply for a single entry transit visa or a multiple entry transit one?

2. Does the transit type even have a multiple entry option?

Thanks!

Hi Suhas!
1. You don't need to apply for the transit permit actually because you are qualified for the 24-hour direct transfer policy.
2. For all I know, there is a multiple entry option for the transit type entry permit.
