About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour transit visa, do I need to do something in advance?

Hi
I have a 9 hour transit in Beijing and want to go and see some of China. Do you apply for the 24 hour entry permit on arrival into Bejing? Is there anything I need to do before my flight? I hold a British passport

Amy, you don't need to anything prior to your travel. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport to go outside after you arrive.
