Shanghai Transportation Card

May I ask if the Transportation card can be returned at Hongqiao Airport subway station?

I am afraid not. But, there are some subway stations along the metro line 2 that have special offices for the returning of the transportation cards: Jiangsu Rd., East Nanjing Rd., Century Park, Songhong Rd. Or maybe you can tell me where you are, so I can locate a nearest office for you.

From Langao Road to Hongqiao Railway Station by subway, you need to make a transfer to line 10 at Changshu Road, where there are CVM self-service machines, on which you can refund the card.

So the most convenient way for you is to refund the card at Changshu Road during transfer, and buy a paper ticket to finnish the ride to railway station. The thing is you need to exit the station and reenter.
