Actually, both of them are interesting to tourists. You can find nice souvenirs and delicious local snacks there. Silk Street wins high popularity among tourists. You can bargain with shop keepers. The distance between these two places are not far. So you can tour around them in one day. For example, from Xidan, you can take subway line 1 to Yonganli Station, Exit A. Then walk north around 240 yards to arrive at Silk Market. Have fun!0
