About:Urumqi Weather

Weather in January in Urumqi

Hi, I am planning to visit the city but am only available to do so in January. Is it worth going at that time or is the weather too bad to visit any of the sites and scenery?

According to the weather records, it was cold at that time, and the average temp is about 10F – 24 F. It also snows a lot. As you mentioned, it is true that there are very limitd sites to visit. If possible, try to make it another time when it is warm.

Hi ,

All tourist sites will open in Jan near Umq and Turpan , even you could go up to Heavenly lake and southern pasture , of course its cold here.
