Will the cable car for the big Buddha operate on jan.1, 2016?

Can we buy tickets for the cable car as early as now (nov.2015) for jan.1, 2016? Our group is big, consisting of 14 adults. thank you very much for your help.

Yes, the cable car will be in operation at that time, but so far you cannot book the cable car ticket. As I know, visitors can reserve it about 14 days before the visit on the official website.
