Big Buddha to airport

Is there a bus from Big Buddha, Lantau Island to the village of Tai O ? Can I ride the ferry from the village of Tai O to HK International Airport?

From Big Buddha, you can take bus no. 21 to Tai O village. And from Tai O to HK, there is no direct ferry and you may take the ferry at Tai O to Tung Chung Development Pier first, then take bus no. S56 there to HKIA. It may take about 1.5h. The ferry operates from 09:30 to 19:00 and the interval is 2h or 2.5h on weekdays and three more departures on weekends.
