transit in china for a nepali citizen

Question

i am from nepal holding american green card. i want to go to india with transit in PRC and i am travelling from USA. Do i need a visa stamp from indian embassy, please guide me through this. what is the process?thanks in advance.

Naren, does your transit in PRC last for more than 24 hours? If yes, you need to apply for a G type entry permit in advance from the CVASC office in India. If the transit time is not more than 24 hours, you don't need to apply for the entry permit.
