About:China Transit Visa

Transiting through Beijing - Indian Passport

I am flying from the USA to India with a 15 hr layover in Beijing, China. I am an Indian passport holder, and I was wondering if I would need a Visa to go and visit Beijing city during the layover? If yes, then can I get it on arrival?

AJ, you don't need it. If you want to go and visit the city, just apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport. What's more, you can get the stay permit for free. Have a good trip!
